The above data is processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection to the website,
  • Ensuring comfortable use of our website,
  • Evaluating system security and stability, and
  • for further administrative purposes Purposes.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the purposes for data collection listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data to draw conclusions about you personally.

In addition, we use cookies and analysis services when you visit the website. Further information can be found in sections 7 and 11 of this privacy policy.

5. When using our contact form

For questions of any kind, we offer you the opportunity to contact us using a form provided on our website. Providing a valid email address is required so that we know who sent the inquiry and can answer it. Some additional information is mandatory or can be provided voluntarily. It is your free decision whether you wish to enter this data in the contact form.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR based on your voluntarily granted consent.

The personal data we collect for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your inquiry has been processed.

6. Disclosure of Data

We will not disclose your personal data to third parties.

7. Use of Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses, Trojans, or other malware.

Information is stored in the cookie that is related to the specific device used. However, this does not mean that we thereby directly obtain knowledge of your identity.

The use of cookies serves, on the one hand, to make the use of our services more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site.

In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness. These cookies are stored on your device for a specific period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it will automatically recognize that you have already visited us and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.

We also use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our service for you (see section 7). These cookies enable us to automatically recognize that you have already visited us when you visit our site again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time.

The data processed by cookies is necessary for the aforementioned purposes to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or so that a warning always appears before a new cookie is created. However, completely deactivating cookies may prevent you from using all the functions of our website.

8. Links to Third-Party Websites

The links published on our website are researched and compiled with the greatest possible care. However, we have no influence on the current and future design and content of the linked pages. We are not responsible for the content of the linked pages and expressly do not adopt the content of these pages as our own. The provider of the website to which reference is made is solely liable for illegal, incorrect, or incomplete content, as well as for damages resulting from the use or non-use of the information. The liability of those who merely refer to the publication via a link is excluded. We are only responsible for third-party references if we have positive knowledge of them, i.e., also of any potentially illegal or criminal content, and it is technically possible and reasonable for us to prevent their use.

9. Use of social media

YouTube videos

We use the YouTube embedding function on our website to display and play YouTube videos from the provider "YouTube" (part of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).

The extended data protection mode is used, which, according to the provider, only triggers the storage of user information when a YouTube video is played. When embedded YouTube videos are played, YouTube uses cookies to collect information about user behavior. YouTube will use this information to improve the user interface. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your Google account when you start a YouTube video. First, log out of Google if you do not want to be associated with your YouTube profile. Your data will be stored by Google as user profiles and evaluated accordingly. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, based on Google's legitimate interests, e.g., in displaying personalized advertising. You can object to YouTube creating user profiles. Further information on data protection at YouTube can be found in the provider's privacy policy (available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de).

10. Social Media Plugins

We use social media plugins from social networks (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Google+) on our website based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to raise awareness of our company. The underlying advertising purpose is considered a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operation lies with the respective providers. We integrate these plugins using the so-called two-click method to best protect visitors to our website.

Facebook

We use social media plugins from Facebook on our website to make their use more personal. For this purpose, we use the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button. This is a service provided by Facebook.

When you access a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser, which then integrates it into the website.

By integrating the plugin, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page on our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not currently logged into Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly associate your visit to our website with your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example, by clicking the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook for everyone to see.

Facebook may use this information for the purposes of advertising, market research, and tailoring Facebook pages to meet your needs. For this purpose, Facebook creates user, interest, and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website, and to provide other services related to the use of Facebook.

If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting my website.

The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your related rights and setting options for protecting your privacy, can be found in Facebook's privacy policy, in particular its data policy, which you can view under the following link: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/

11. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies," which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide the website operator with other services related to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent cookies from being saved by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that if you do this, you may not be able to use all of the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this website: [Disable Google Analytics].

Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/. We would like to point out that Google Analytics has been extended on this website with the code "anonymizeIp" to ensure the anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

12. Statistics

We use WBstats - by Dev4me to analyze and statistically evaluate website usage. For this purpose, server log files (see "VI. Principles for the Processing of Personal Data") are evaluated. The information stored in the server log files about website usage is summarized in pseudonymous user profiles. This information is used to evaluate website usage and to enable a needs-based design of our website. This information is not passed on to third parties. Under no circumstances will we associate the IP address with other user data.

13. Rights of data subjects

Data subjects have the following rights vis-à-vis the controller:

1. Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 GDPR)

You can withdraw your consent to the processing of data at any time with future effect.

2. Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR)

You can request information about whether your personal data is being processed. In particular, you can request information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period or criteria for this, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, or the existence of the right to lodge a complaint. Furthermore, you can request information about the origin of data that was not collected from you. You can also request to be informed whether automated decision-making takes place and whether data will be transferred to a third country or to an international organization. You can request a copy of the personal data concerning you, provided that this does not affect the rights and freedoms of others.

3. Right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR)

You can request the immediate rectification of inaccurate personal data or, taking into account the purposes of the processing, the completion of your stored personal data.

4. Right to erasure (Article 17 GDPR)

You can request the erasure of your stored personal data if the purpose of the processing has expired due to the passage of time or other reasons, you have withdrawn your consent or objected to the processing and there are no overriding reasons for the processing or other legal grounds, the legal basis for the data processing is missing or has ceased to exist, and the processing is not necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims. If we have made your data public, we are obligated to take appropriate measures to inform each recipient that you have requested the deletion of all links to or copies of the personal data in question. If the data was not processed unlawfully and deletion is only possible with disproportionate effort, the right to deletion is replaced by the right to restriction of processing.

5. Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

6. Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us on the basis of your consent or a contract concluded with us in a structured, common, and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller, provided that this does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.

7. Right to object (Article 21 GDPR)

You have the right to object to processing we carry out to protect our legitimate interests, for reasons related to your particular situation, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms. You have the right to object at any time to processing we carry out for direct marketing or fundraising purposes. Your data may then no longer be processed for these purposes.

8. Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR)

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates data protection regulations.

14. Data Security

We use the widespread SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method during your visit to the website in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. This is usually 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether a single page of our website is being transmitted encrypted by the closed key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously being improved in line with technological developments.

15. Changes to the Data Protection Policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy to ensure that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
